The AOSNR has 1 Special Interest Group. If you are interested in setting up a Special Interest Group, please scroll to the bottom of the list for guidelines. The full list of current SIGs, with email contacts for the Chairs, is as follows
If you have a particular interest in helping some of these special interest groups then please contact the Chair. We hope the special interest groups will put on teaching courses and help with the development of our regional and world congresses. Some of the groups may also be putting together best practice guidelines in order to promote that particular interest.
AOSNR SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP GUIDELINES
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) constitute an important part of the AOSNR. Special Interest Groups promote the development of their specific area of interest within the general aims of AOSNR and this includes engagement in educational activities. The purpose of each SIG is formulated by that group, within general guidelines provided by AOSNR, and subject to approval by the Presidium. Each SIG elects a Chairperson. The Chairpersons of all SIGs form the AOSNR SIG Committee which should meet at least on the occasion of each World Congress of AOSNR. The SIG Committee elects a Committee Chair, who is also a permanent member of the Scientific Programme Committee and the Presidium.
